| Wings
of Change works with local partners to promote sustainable relationships
between humans and the environment. The geographic focus of
our work is the Southern Rockies, the Southwest, Mexico and
Central America. Our goal is to create opportunities for communities
by generating awareness and new perspectives on key environmental,
economic and human issues.
To accomplish this goal, Wings of Change
uses a number of resources: active facilitation, the aerial
perspective of flight, environmental economic analysis and
the local knowledge and capacities of our partners.
In
this section are current Initiatives which outline actions
planned with partners to increase possibilities for environmental,
economic and community sustainability. Where aircraft will
be used to gain a new, aerial perspective, Flight Plans are
described.

Cangrejal-Pico Bonito National Park Initiative: Wings
of Change assembles team to produce film documentary highlighting
natural resources, adventure travel in Honduras. Increased eco-tourism
would create opportunity for local economic & environmental
sustainability. |
Pico
Bonito National Park Reforestation Initiative: Wings
of Change proposes cooperative effort to reforest Pico Bonito
National Park, promote sustainable local farming. Agricultural
technology, investment in conservation and local efforts provide
key to sustainable livelihoods and rainforest conservation. |
