Bryce Appleton
Executive Director

Bryce is a native Californian with family roots in the Southwest and the Northeast. He is a graduate of Yale, the University of Connecticut School of Law and the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.

Bryce practiced law as a Legal Aid attorney, as a City Prosecutor and as a private practitioner. He has been the turn-around CEO of three regional airlines, guiding them to excellent service and reliability, rapid growth and profitability. Bryce has served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Transportation on airline deregulation and to several foreign governments on aviation issues.

Bryce is a consultant and coach to corporations and non-profit organizations on strategy and general management. He is a trained facilitator and mediator and has taught mediation and arbitration in Mexico. He seeks to create new awareness, perspectives and opportunities for sustainable environmental, economic and human relations.

 

Guy L. (G.L.) Scarborough, Jr.
Founder (retired)

G.L. founded Wings of Change in 1998. Prior to that, he served as Director of Flight Operations of LightHawk, an environmental flying organization based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with operations in the United States and a number of foreign countries.

G.L. is a graduate of the University of Colorado. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate with instrument and multi-engine ratings, and is type rated in aircraft from the DC9 jet to single engine floatplanes. G.L. has flown many types of light aircraft, mostly the Cessna 206 and T210. He flew as a commercial airline Captain and as Aircraft Commander in the U.S. Air Force. Although G.L. retired in 2001, he continues to assist Wings of Change on key issues involved in flying for conservation.
